Anonymous asked: Is your job at Stuff as amazing and Godly as it seems?

A lot of it is doing generally menial stuff, but realising how many people will see some of that menial stuff is pretty fun, and parts of it (writing the blog really) are pretty top notch just in general. It’s not incredible amazing every day or anything, but it is generally satisfying and no day is the same, so couldn’t ask for too much more in a job at my age really.

Anonymous asked: Best DSRL camera for a beginner?

Do you know anyone with a dslr and lenses? I would recommend going with whatever system they have so you can burrow lenses. I’m a Nikon bro, so I would recommend getting something like a d70 cheap on trademe/ebay. DSLRs are built well, and the d70 can AF old lenses. I started on a d40 and I learnt lots though. The 1000D (canon) is also a solid camera. I would recommend picking up a 50mm 1.8 (~150 USD) as soon as possible as well as the kit lens.
